\n<\/span>Fresh-water Sponge<\/b><\/p>\n

Soreness of muscles and integuments; worse motion and friction of clothes, with sensitiveness to cold. Glands swollen. General paresis. Basedow’s disease. Lues, bubo, roseola.<\/p>\n

Head.–<\/b><\/span>Sensation of enlargement and fullness. Pain in forehead and temple,\u00a0extending to eyeballs<\/i><\/span>, worse in afternoon. Blueness under eyes.\u00a0Dandruff<\/i><\/span>; scalp sore, dry, tetter-like. Dull, dizzy feeling in head.\u00a0Coryza<\/i><\/span>, sneezing, watery discharge, with asthmatic breathing and suffocative cough. Influenza. Slight sounds are greatly accentuated.<\/p>\n

Eyes.–<\/b><\/span>Twitching of\u00a0left<\/i><\/span>\u00a0upper lid; eyeballs tender; aching in eyeballs. Intermittent sore pain in eyeball, coming on at 3 pm.<\/p>\n

Respiratory.–<\/b><\/span>Cough; worse in afternoon, better in warm room.\u00a0The mucus flies out of mouth and nostrils<\/i><\/span>. Whooping-cough, with thick yellow expectoration; flies out. Hay-fever, with asthmatic breathing. Pleuritic stitches in chest, neck, and back.<\/p>\n

Stomach.–<\/b><\/span>Mouth hot. Much thirst. Lancinating pain in pit of stomach extending to vertebra and scapula.<\/p>\n

Female.–<\/b><\/span>Metrorrhagia; worse at night, with feeling of enlargement of head (Arg<\/i><\/span>). Cancer of breast (Asterias; Con; Carbo an; Plumb iod<\/i><\/span>).<\/p>\n

Heart.–<\/b><\/span>Indescribable bad feeling about the heart with soreness and pain, flying stitches all over.<\/p>\n

Skin.–<\/b><\/span>Sore to touch.\u00a0Freckles. Rhagades<\/i><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Back.–<\/b><\/span>Stitches in nape, scapul\u0107. Pain in small of back, hips and lower limbs. Very stiff neck.\u00a0Muscles and skin sore<\/i><\/span>, as if beaten.<\/p>\n

Modalities.–<\/b><\/span>Worse<\/i><\/span>\u00a0by cold.\u00a0Better<\/i><\/span>, by heat.<\/p>\n

Relationship.–<\/b><\/span>Compare:\u00a0Merc<\/i><\/span>\u00a0similar but opposite modalities.\u00a0Spongia; Kali hyd; Phytol; Conium<\/i><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Complementary:\u00a0Sulph; Merc; Iod<\/i><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Dose.–<\/b><\/span>First to sixth attenuation.<\/p>\n
