CHININUM ARSENICOSUM<\/span>
\n<\/span>Arsenite of Quinine<\/b><\/p>\n

The symptoms of general\u00a0weariness and prostration<\/i><\/span>\u00a0produced by the drug have been utilized in prescribing it homeopathically as a general tonic, often with very marked beneficial and prompt effect. In diphtheria with great prostration, cases that are prolonged, especially, and in malarial affections, neuralgia, etc, it has been found curative. Asthmatic attacks which recur periodically, with great prostration. Icy skin. Pressure in the solar plexus, with tender spine back of it.<\/p>\n

Head.–<\/b><\/span>Tired feeling. Head feels too full. Throbbing. Great anxiety. Great irritability. Vertigo; worse looking up. Dull, heavy headache, frontal and occipital. Darting pains running up into head.<\/p>\n

Eyes.–<\/b><\/span>Intense photophobia and orbicular spasm; gushing hot tears. Flickering with pain and lachrymation.<\/p>\n

Mouth.–<\/b><\/span>Tongue thickly furred; yellow, slimy coating. Bitter taste. No appetite.<\/p>\n

Stomach.–<\/b><\/span>Alternation of hyperacidity and decrease of acid. Hyperchlorhydria (Robinia; Arg nit; Orexine tannate<\/i><\/span>). Thirst for water, yet it disturbs.\u00a0Anorexia. Eggs produce diarrh\u015ba<\/i><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Heart.–<\/b><\/span>Palpitation. Sensation as if heart stopped. Suffocative attacks, occurring in periodical paroxysms. Must have open air. Short of breath on ascending; cardiac dyspn\u015ba; circulatory weakness after acute infections; early myocardial degeneration.<\/p>\n

Sleep.–<\/b><\/span>Sleeplessness due to nervous causes (Single dose of 5th or 6th potency).<\/p>\n

Extremities.–<\/b><\/span>Weak limbs.\u00a0Coldness of hands and feet, knees and limbs<\/i><\/span>. Tearing pains.<\/p>\n

Fever.–<\/b><\/span>Continuous, with weakness. System depleted.<\/p>\n

Relationship.–<\/b><\/span>Compare:\u00a0Chininum<\/i><\/span>; also\u00a0Ferrum Citricum<\/i><\/span>\u00a0(in nephritis with great an\u0107mia; acid dyspepsia in chlorosis. Morbus maculosus Werlhoffii);\u00a0Chinin mur<\/i><\/span>\u00a0(in severe neuralgic pains around eyes, with chills; exaggerated sensitiveness to alcohol and tobacco; prostration and restlessness).\u00a0\u015anothera<\/i><\/span>\u00a0(effortless diarrh\u015ba with nervous exhaustion; incipient hydrocephaloid).\u00a0Macrozamia spiralis<\/i><\/span>\u00a0(extreme debility after illness; collapse).<\/p>\n

Dose.–<\/b><\/span>Second and third trituration.<\/p>\n
