Produces giddiness, lowered pulse, and air hunger and reduction in blood-pressure. Acts on muscle of heart,\u00a0and is a heart tonic<\/i><\/span>. No influence on the endocardium.<\/p>\n

Myocarditis. Failing compensation.\u00a0Irregularity of heart<\/i><\/span>. Insomnia of aortic sufferers; an\u0107mia; \u015bdema; cutaneous chilliness. High arterial tension. Is a sedative in cross, irritable patients with cardiac symptoms.<\/p>\n

Chronic heart disease, with extreme weakness. Very feeble and irregular heart action. General anasarca. Very nervous, with pain in back of head and neck. Collapse of typhoid. H\u0107morrhage from bowels. Cold extremities, pallor; irregular pulse and breathing. Painful sensation of pressure in left side of chest below the clavicle. Head.–<\/b><\/span>Apprehensive, despondent. Very nervous and irritable, with pain in back of head and neck. Mental dullness conjunctival irritation nasal discharges.<\/p>\n

Urinary.–<\/b><\/span>Diabetes<\/i><\/span>, especially in children.<\/p>\n

Heart.–<\/b><\/span>Cardiac dropsy<\/i><\/span>. Fatty degeneration. Aortic disease.\u00a0Extreme dyspn\u015ba on least exertion<\/i><\/span>, without much increase of pulse. Pain in region of heart\u00a0and under left clavicle<\/i><\/span>. Heart muscles seem flabby, worn out. Cough.\u00a0Heart dilated; first sound weak<\/i><\/span>. Pulse accelerated,\u00a0irregular, feeble, intermittent<\/i><\/span>. Valvular murmurs, angina pectoris. Cutaneous chilliness, blueness of fingers and toes; all aggravated by exertion or excitement. Sustains heart in infectious diseases.<\/p>\n

Skin.–<\/b><\/span>Excessive perspiration. Skin eruptions.<\/p>\n

Sleep.–<\/b><\/span>Insomnia of aortic patients.<\/p>\n

Modalities.–<\/b><\/span>Worse<\/i><\/span>, in warm room.\u00a0Better<\/i><\/span>, fresh air, quiet and rest.<\/p>\n

Relationship.–<\/b><\/span>Strophantus; Digit; Iberis; Naja; Cactus<\/i><\/span>.<\/p>\n
