Its action on the skin, producing pruritus, is very marked. Visible pulsation of arteries. Fluent coryza. Offensive excretions. Itching erythema.\u00a0Pruritus senilis<\/i><\/span>. Post-nasal catarrh; dry crusts, granular appearance of posterior nares with itching.<\/p>\n

Head.–<\/b><\/span>Inability to study or remember. Depressed and irritable. Itching of eyes and ears. Pains deep in head,\u00a0with upward pressure<\/i><\/span>. Itching in and around eyes and ears. Head hot, better bending backward, with tired neck. Occipital headache. Bursting pains. Cerebral hyper\u0107mia.<\/p>\n

Nose.–<\/b><\/span>Sore, red, inflamed. Fluent coryza, with sneezing, followed by dryness and crust formation.<\/p>\n

Eyes.–<\/b><\/span>Itching<\/i><\/span>\u00a0and smarting, swelling, heat and soreness.<\/p>\n

Throat.–<\/b><\/span>Soreness and feeling of excoriation, deep down pharynx. Uvula elongated, tonsils swollen.<\/p>\n

Stomach.–<\/b><\/span>Eructations of\u00a0scalding, hot<\/i><\/span>, acid, watery substance; better, coffee. Bad taste in the morning. Persistent, morning nausea. Drooling.<\/p>\n

Heart.–<\/b><\/span>Pain around heart, better lying on back, extending to left shoulder and arm.\u00a0Throbbing in all arteries<\/i><\/span>\u00a0after retiring. Palpitation with oppression. Pulse irregular, intermittent, rapid. Light feeling in chest.<\/p>\n

Female.–<\/b><\/span>Pruritus vulv\u0107, with yellow leucorrh\u015ba<\/i><\/span>, worse, rest. Burning in right ovary.<\/p>\n

Extremities.–<\/b><\/span>Stiffness and bruised sensation in the muscles of the neck, with sensation as if nape of neck could not support head. Pain in shoulder, with pain along fingers.\u00a0Vehement itching in arms and legs<\/i><\/span>; worse towards evening. Feet numb and pricking. Streaking pains in arms and legs.<\/p>\n

Skin.–<\/b><\/span>Itching<\/i><\/span>; better by bathing in cold water; worse scratching, touch and retiring. Sore red blotches. Blind boils. Itching of knees and elbows and hairy portions.\u00a0Itching of hands, deep in<\/i><\/span>. Vesicular, pustular, phlegmonous dermatitis. Skin hot, swollen.<\/p>\n

Modalities.–<\/b><\/span>Better<\/i><\/span>, cold water, coffee;\u00a0worse<\/i><\/span>, in afternoon; from sunlight, scratching.<\/p>\n
