KALIUM SULPHURICUM<\/span>
\n<\/span>Potassium Sulphate
\n(KALI SULPHURICUM)<\/b><\/p>\n

Ailments accompanied by profuse desquamation. Applicable to the later stages of inflammation.\u00a0Yellow<\/i><\/span>, mucous and serous discharges, profuse and intermittent. Has been found of much use in oxaluria.<\/p>\n

Head.–<\/b><\/span>Rheumatic headache, beginning in evening. Bald spots. Dandruff and scaldhead.<\/p>\n

Ears.–<\/b><\/span>Eustachian deafness. Discharge of\u00a0yellow<\/i><\/span>\u00a0matter (Hydr<\/i><\/span>).<\/p>\n

Nose.–<\/b><\/span>Cold,\u00a0with yellow<\/i><\/span>, slimy expectoration. Nose obstructed. Smell lost (Nat mur<\/i><\/span>).\u00a0Engorgement of the nasal pharyngeal mucous membrane<\/i><\/span>, mouth breathing, snoring, etc, remaining after removal of adenoids.<\/p>\n

Face.–<\/b><\/span>Aches in heated room. Epithelioma.<\/p>\n

Stomach.–<\/b><\/span>Tongue coated yellow and slimy. Insipid, pappy taste. Gums painful. Burning thirst, nausea, and vomiting. Load feeling. Dread of hot drinks.<\/p>\n

Abdomen.–<\/b><\/span>Colicky pains; abdomen feels cold to touch; tympanitic, tense. Yellow, slimy diarrh\u0153a. Constipation, with h\u00e6morrhoids (Sulph<\/i><\/span>).<\/p>\n

Male.–<\/b><\/span>Gonorrh\u0153a; discharge slimy, yellowish-green. Orchitis. Gleet.<\/p>\n

Female.–<\/b><\/span>Menses too late, scanty, with feeling of weight in abdomen. Metrorrhagia.<\/p>\n

Respiratory.–<\/b><\/span>Coarse rales.\u00a0Rattling of mucus in chest<\/i><\/span>\u00a0(Tart em<\/i><\/span>). Post-grippal cough, especially in children. Bronchial asthma, with yellow expectoration. Cough; worse in evening and in hot atmosphere. Croupy hoarseness (Hep; Spong<\/i><\/span>).<\/p>\n

Extremities.–<\/b><\/span>Pain in nape, back and limbs, worse in warm room.\u00a0Shifting, wandering pains<\/i><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Fever.–<\/b><\/span>Rise of temperature at night. Intermittent fever, with yellow, slimy tongue.<\/p>\n

Skin.–<\/b><\/span>Psoriasis (Ars; Thyroid<\/i><\/span>). Eczema; burning, itching, papular eruption. Nettle-rash. Polypi. Epithelioma. Seborrh\u0153a. Favus. Ring-worm of scalp or beard with abundant scales.<\/p>\n

Modalities.–<\/b><\/span>Worse<\/i><\/span>, in evening, heated room.\u00a0Better<\/i><\/span>, cool, open air.<\/p>\n

Relationship.–<\/b><\/span>Compare:\u00a0Kali sulph chromico.–Alum of chrome<\/i><\/span>-3x (Produces in the nasal passages very fine threads from the septum to external wall; affections of nasal foss\u00e6 and hay-fever. Chronic colds. Sneezing, red, watery eyes, irritation of mucous membrane).\u00a0Pulsat; Kali bich; Nat m<\/i><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Dose.–<\/b><\/span>Third to twelfth potency.<\/p>\n
