\n<\/span>Dog’s Milk<\/b><\/p>\n

This remedy is of undoubted value in certain form of sore throat and diphtheria, and rheumatism. Corresponds to a low-vitiated, non-feverish type of sickness. The keynote symptom is,\u00a0erratic pains, alternating sides<\/i><\/span>. Feels as if walking on air, or of not touching the bed when lying down. Great lassitude. Oz\u00e6na. Decided effect in drying up milk in women who cannot nurse the baby.\u00a0Great weakness and prostration<\/i><\/span>. Sinking spells every morning. Mastitis.<\/p>\n

Mind.–<\/b><\/span>Very forgetful; in writing, makes mistakes.\u00a0Despondent<\/i><\/span>; thinks her disease incurable. Attacks of rage.\u00a0Visions of snakes<\/i><\/span>. Thinks himself of little consequence.<\/p>\n

Head.–<\/b><\/span>Sensation of walking or floating in the air (Sticta<\/i><\/span>). Pain first one side, then the other. Blurred vision, nausea and vomiting at height of attack of headache. Occipital pain, with shooting extending to forehead. Sensation as if brain were alternately contracted and relaxed. Noises in ears. Reverberation of voice.<\/p>\n

Nose.–<\/b><\/span>Coryza; one nostril stuffed up, the other free; alternate. Al\u00e6 nasi and corners of mouth cracked. Bones of nose sore to pressure. Bloody pus discharged.<\/p>\n

Mouth.–<\/b><\/span>Tongue coated white with bright red edges; profuse salivation. Drooling in diphtheria.\u00a0Cracking of jaw while eating<\/i><\/span>\u00a0(Nit ac; Rhus<\/i><\/span>). Putrid taste increased by sweets.<\/p>\n

Throat.–<\/b><\/span>Sensitive to touch. Painful swallowing; pain extends to ears. Sore throat and cough with menstruation.\u00a0Tonsillitis and diphtheria symptoms change repeatedly from side to side. Shining glazed<\/i><\/span>\u00a0appearance of deposit,\u00a0pearly-white<\/i><\/span>\u00a0or like pure white porcelain.\u00a0Stiffness of neck<\/i><\/span>\u00a0and tongue. Throat feels burned raw. Tickling sensation causes constant cough. Sore throat beginning and ending with menses.<\/p>\n

Female.–<\/b><\/span>Menses too early, profuse,\u00a0flow in gushes. Breasts swollen; painful before<\/i><\/span>\u00a0(Calc c; Con; Puls<\/i><\/span>) and better on appearance of menses. Mastitis;\u00a0worse, least jar<\/i><\/span>.\u00a0Helps to dry up milk<\/i><\/span>. Sinking at epigastrium. Sexual organs easily excited. Backache; spine very sensitive to touch or pressure.\u00a0Galactorrh\u0153a<\/i><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Extremities.–<\/b><\/span>Sciatica, right side. Legs feel numb and stiff, cramps in feet. Rheumatic pains in extremities and back, from one side to the other. Pain in arms to fingers. Burning in palms and soles.<\/p>\n

Sleep.–<\/b><\/span>Dreams of snakes.<\/p>\n

Modalities.–<\/b><\/span>Worse<\/i><\/span>, morning of one day and in the evening of next.\u00a0Better<\/i><\/span>, cold, cold drinks.<\/p>\n
