A remedy for hysteria and nervous paroxysms,\u00a0fainting fits<\/i><\/span>\u00a0and convulsions, catalepsy, etc. The characteristic condition being aggravation by cold; there is great sensitiveness to air. Much nervous trembling and frequent fainting. Great flatulence. Diseases do not follow a normal course.\u00a0Coldness<\/i><\/span>. Tension in muscles, skin and mind.<\/p>\n

Mind.–<\/b><\/span>Uncontrollable laughter<\/i><\/span>. Scolding. Anxiety with palpitation; starting as if frightened. Sexual hypochondriasis.<\/p>\n

Head.–<\/b><\/span>Compressive pain over root of nose. Pressure on top of head. Vertigo on least motion; sensation as if falling from a great height. Scalp sensitive. Sounds in ears as from the report of a cannon.<\/p>\n

Stomach.–<\/b><\/span>Desire for black coffee, stimulants. Aversion to food. Everything tastes flat. With stomach symptoms, anxiety in chest. Distended. Faints when eating. Male.–<\/b><\/span>Violent desire<\/i><\/span>; involuntary emissions. Impotence, associated with diabetes (Coca<\/i><\/span>). Premature senility. Nausea and vomiting after coition.<\/p>\n

Female.–<\/b><\/span>Menses too early, too profuse, with disposition to faint (Nux m; Veratr<\/i><\/span>). Sexual desire, with intolerable titillation in parts. Drawing and pushing in the direction of the genitals; sensation as if menses appear.<\/p>\n

Urine.–<\/b><\/span>Profuse urination.\u00a0Diabetes<\/i><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Respiratory.–<\/b><\/span>Tightness of chest, is obliged to take a deeper breath. Sudden constriction of larynx and trachea.\u00a0Difficult respiration; chest oppressed<\/i><\/span>; hysterical spasm of chest; asthma. Spasm of glottis. Impending paralysis of lungs. Asthma, with intense anxiety, fear, and smothering sensation.\u00a0Cough ceases, mucus cannot be expectorated<\/i><\/span>. Globus hystericus.<\/p>\n

Heart.–<\/b><\/span>Hysterical palpitation. Trembling around heart. Weak pulse and fainting.<\/p>\n

Modalities.–<\/b><\/span>Better<\/i><\/span>, in open air, rubbing.\u00a0Worse<\/i><\/span>, cold. The open air is felt very, very cold.<\/p>\n
