\n<\/span>Nutmeg<\/b><\/p>\n

Marked tendency to\u00a0fainting fits<\/i><\/span>, with heart failure. Cold extremities,\u00a0extreme dryness of mucous membranes<\/i><\/span>\u00a0and skin. Strange feeling, with irresistible\u00a0drowsiness<\/i><\/span>. Indicanuria. General inclination to become unconscious during acute attacks. Lypothymia (Ignatia<\/i><\/span>). Staggers on trying to walk.<\/p>\n

Mind.–<\/b><\/span>Changeable; laughing and crying. Confused, impaired memory. Bewildered sense, as in a dream. Thinks she has two heads.<\/p>\n

Head.–<\/b><\/span>Vertigo when walking in open air; aches from eating a little too much. Feeling of expansion,\u00a0with sleepiness<\/i><\/span>. Pulsating in head. Cracking sensation in head. Sensitive to slightest touch in a draught of air. Bursting headache;\u00a0better hard pressure<\/i><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Eyes.–<\/b><\/span>Objects look larger, very distant, or vanish. Motes before eyes. Mydriasis.<\/p>\n

Nose.–<\/b><\/span>Oversensitive to smell; nosebleed, dark blood; dry, stopped up.<\/p>\n

Mouth.–<\/b><\/span>Very dry. Tongue adheres to roof of mouth; but no desire for water. Saliva like cotton (Berb<\/i><\/span>). Toothache in pregnancy. Tongue numb, paralyzed. Dryness of throat.<\/p>\n

Stomach.–<\/b><\/span>Excessively bloated. Flatulent dyspepsia<\/i><\/span>. Hiccough, and craving for highly-seasoned food. Retrocession of gout to stomach.<\/p>\n

Abdomen.–<\/b><\/span>Paralytic weakness of intestines.\u00a0Enormously distended<\/i><\/span>. Stool is soft, and yet is\u00a0unable to expel it<\/i><\/span>, even with long straining (Alum<\/i><\/span>).\u00a0Faintness during or after stool<\/i><\/span>. Protruding piles.<\/p>\n

Female.–<\/b><\/span>Uterine h\u0107morrhage. Menses too long, dark, thick. Leucorrh\u015ba muddy and bloody. Suppression, with persistent fainting attacks and sleepiness (Kali c<\/i><\/span>).\u00a0Variableness<\/i><\/span>\u00a0of menstruation irregularity of time and quantity<\/i><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Respiratory.–<\/b><\/span>Loss of voice from walking against the wind (Hep<\/i><\/span>). Cough when getting warm in bed.<\/p>\n

Heart.–<\/b><\/span>Trembling, fluttering. Sensation as if something grasped heart. Palpitation; pulse intermits.<\/p>\n

Extremities.–<\/b><\/span>Pain in right hip to knee; worse, motion, especially going upstairs. Rheumatism from getting feet wet, from exposure to draughts. Rheumatism relieved by dry, warm clothes. Fatigue on slight exertion.<\/p>\n

Sleep.–<\/b><\/span>Great drowsiness (Indol<\/i><\/span>).\u00a0Complaints cause sleepiness<\/i><\/span>. Coma.<\/p>\n

Fever.–<\/b><\/span>Chill begins in left hand (Carbo). Chilliness and heat without thirst;\u00a0want of perspiration. Dry skin<\/i><\/span>\u00a0and of inner parts, also of eyes, nose, lips, mouth, tongue, throat, etc.<\/p>\n

Modalities.–<\/b><\/span>Worse<\/i><\/span>, cold moist wind, cold food, cold washing, lying on painful side, motion, jar.\u00a0Better<\/i><\/span>, warmth, dry weather.<\/p>\n

Relationship.–<\/b><\/span>Oleum myristicae<\/i><\/span>-Oil of Nutmeg–(as a remedy for boils, felons, poisonous ulcers, it has been used in the 2x potency);\u00a0Ornithogalum<\/i><\/span>\u00a0(flatulence<\/i><\/span>, swollen feeling across lower chest; whenever she turns in bed,\u00a0feels as if a bag of water<\/i><\/span>\u00a0turned also; gastric ulcer and cancer).\u00a0Myristica Sebifera<\/i><\/span>\u00a0(phlegmonous inflammations, hastens suppuration; powerful antiseptic. Ulcerative tendency in all tissues. Said to act more powerfully than Hepar and Silica).<\/p>\n
