Has been found a useful remedy in enuresis, seasickness, constipation, etc. Rickets.<\/p>\n

Head.–<\/b><\/span>Dread of downward motion (Borax<\/i><\/span>).\u00a0Profuse sweat on occiput<\/i><\/span>\u00a0and in nape of neck, during sleep (Calc; Sil<\/i><\/span>). Photophobia. Lachrymation in cold air or from cold application. Profuse scaly dandruff. Soreness behind ears.<\/p>\n

Throat.–<\/b><\/span>Thick, ropy, tenacious mucus.<\/p>\n

Mouth.–<\/b><\/span>Tongue large, flabby, burning; must protrude it to keep cool. Ringworm on tongue.<\/p>\n

Stomach.–<\/b><\/span>Nausea and vomiting from car-riding. Thirst; drink little and often (Ars; Chin<\/i><\/span>). Is vomited as soon as it reaches the stomach.<\/p>\n

Rectum.–<\/b><\/span>Stools large, heavy and painful.\u00a0Pain in whole perineum<\/i><\/span>. No desire until a large accumulation. After great straining only partially expelled; recedes, crumbles at verge of anus (Mag mur<\/i><\/span>). Very offensive odor. Excoriation of skin about anus, perineum, and genitals. Diarrh\u015ba; changeable in character and color; after eating.<\/p>\n

Female.–<\/b><\/span>Bearing-down, as if contents of pelvis would escape; better, rest. Desire to support parts. Soreness of uterus. Leucorrh\u015ba with\u00a0odor of fish-brine or cold cheese<\/i><\/span>\u00a0(Hepar<\/i><\/span>). Vagina feels large.<\/p>\n

Back.–<\/b><\/span>Dislocated feeling in sacrum and better lying on right side.<\/p>\n

Extremities.–<\/b><\/span>Burning of soles of feet (Sulph; Lach<\/i><\/span>). Offensive foot-sweat (Sil; Psor<\/i><\/span>). Cold, clammy sweat of extremities.<\/p>\n

Skin.–<\/b><\/span>Dirty, greasy, brownish, wrinkled. Eczema, fissured hands and fingers (Petrol; Graph<\/i><\/span>).<\/p>\n

Modalities.–<\/b><\/span>Worse, moving arms backward<\/i><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Relationship.–<\/b><\/span>Compare:\u00a0Abrot; Alum; Calc; Sil; Sulph<\/i><\/span>. Sanicula Aqua must not be confounded with the Sanicle (pool-root or wood marsh), also called\u00a0Sanicula<\/i><\/span>. This is used in various nervous affections, resembling Valeriana. It is used as a vulnerary, resolvent for sanguineous extravasations, and as an astringent (Has not been proved).<\/p>\n
