Nervous affections with marked irritability, diseases of the genito-urinary tract and skin, most frequently give symptoms calling for this drug. Acts on teeth and alveolar periosteum. Ill effects of anger and insults.\u00a0Sexual sins and excesses. Very sensitive<\/i><\/span>. Lacerated tissues. Pain and nervousness after extraction of teeth. Sphincters lacerated or stretched.<\/p>\n

Mind.–<\/b><\/span>Impetuous,\u00a0violent outbursts of passion<\/i><\/span>, hypochondriacal, sad.\u00a0Very sensitive<\/i><\/span>\u00a0as to what others say about her. Dwells on sexual matters; prefers solitude. Peevish. Child cries for many things, and refuses them when offered.<\/p>\n

Head.–<\/b><\/span>Stupefying headache; passes off with yawning. Brain feels squeezed. Sensation of a ball of lead in forehead. Itching eruption above and behind ears (Oleand<\/i><\/span>).<\/p>\n

Eyes.–<\/b><\/span>Heat in eyeballs, dims spectacles.\u00a0Recurrent styes<\/i><\/span>.\u00a0Chalaz\u00e6<\/i><\/span>\u00a0(Platanus<\/i><\/span>). Eyes sunken, with blue rings. Margin of lids itch. Affections of angles of eye, particularly the inner. Lacerated or incised wounds of cornea. Bursting pain in eyeballs of syphilitic iritis.<\/p>\n

Throat.–<\/b><\/span>Stitches flying to the ear on swallowing, especially left<\/i><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Mouth.–<\/b><\/span>Toothache during menses.\u00a0Teeth black and crumbling<\/i><\/span>. Salivation, spongy gums, bleed easily (Merc; Kreos<\/i><\/span>). Submaxillary glands swollen. After eating feels sleepy pyorrhea (Plantago<\/i><\/span>)<\/p>\n

Stomach.–<\/b><\/span>Flabby and weak. Desire for stimulants. Stomach feels relaxed.\u00a0Craving for tobacco<\/i><\/span>. Canine hunger, even when stomach is full. Nausea after abdominal operations.<\/p>\n

Abdomen.–<\/b><\/span>Colic after anger. Hot flatus. Swollen abdomen in children, with much flatus. Colic, with pelvic tenesmus.\u00a0Severe pain following an abdominal operation<\/i><\/span>. Incarcerated flatus. Diarrh\u0153a after drinking cold water, with tenesmus.\u00a0Constipation<\/i><\/span>\u00a0(2 drops tincture night and morning), h\u00e6morrhoids, with enlarged prostate.<\/p>\n

Male.–<\/b><\/span>Especially after self-abuse; persistent dwelling on sexual subjects. Spermatorrh\u0153a, with sunken features; guilty look; emissions, with backache and weakness and sexual neurasthenia. Dyspn\u0153a after coition.<\/p>\n

Female.–<\/b><\/span>Parts very sensitive<\/i><\/span>, worse sitting down (Berb; Kreos<\/i><\/span>).\u00a0Irritable bladder in young married women<\/i><\/span>. Leucorrh\u0153a. Prolapsus, with sinking in the abdomen; aching around the hips.<\/p>\n

Urinary.–<\/b><\/span>Cystocele<\/i><\/span>\u00a0(locally and internally). Cystitis in lying-in patients. Ineffectual urging to urinate in\u00a0newly married<\/i><\/span>\u00a0women. Pressure upon bladder; feels as if it did not empty.\u00a0Sensation as if a drop of urine were rolling continuously along the channel<\/i><\/span>. Burning in urethra during micturition. Prostatic troubles; frequent urination, burning in urethra\u00a0when not urinating<\/i><\/span>\u00a0(Thuja; Sabal; Ferr pic<\/i><\/span>). Urging and pain\u00a0after<\/i><\/span>\u00a0urinating. Pain after lithotomy.<\/p>\n

Skin.–<\/b><\/span>Eczema of head, ears, face, and body; thick scabs, dry, and itch violently;\u00a0scratching changes location of itching<\/i><\/span>. Fig-warts pedunculated (Thuja<\/i><\/span>). Arthritic nodes. Inflammation of phalanges. Night-sweats.<\/p>\n

Extremities.–<\/b><\/span>Muscles, especially of calves, feel bruised.\u00a0Backache; worse in morning before rising<\/i><\/span>. Extremities feel beaten and painful. Joints stiff.\u00a0Crural neuralgia<\/i><\/span>. Dull aching of nates extending to hip-joint and small of back.<\/p>\n

Modalities.–<\/b><\/span>Worse<\/i><\/span>, anger, indignation, grief, mortification, loss of fluids, onanism, sexual excesses, tobacco; least touch on affected parts.\u00a0Better<\/i><\/span>, after breakfast, warmth, rest at night.<\/p>\n

Relationship.–<\/b><\/span>Inimical:\u00a0Ranunc bulb<\/i><\/span>.<\/p>\n
