Has marked effects on the throat, and has proven an excellent remedy in\u00a0pharyngitis<\/i><\/span>, especially the follicular form. Irritable throats of singers and public speakers. Useful also in h\u0107morrhoids. Hay-fever symptoms;\u00a0itching in posterior nares<\/i><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Head.–<\/b><\/span>Nervous, uneasy, depressed. Dizzy. Rush of blood to head. Sharp pain in forehead.<\/p>\n

Mouth.–<\/b><\/span>Feels as if scalded; sensation of heat down \u015bsophagus. Itching of the palate.<\/p>\n

Throat.–<\/b><\/span>Constant clearing and hemming.\u00a0Dry<\/i><\/span>, posterior nares; no relief from clearing.\u00a0Throat feels swollen<\/i><\/span>; epiglottis dry and burning. Difficult swallowing. Constant desire to swallow saliva. Uvula feels elongated.<\/p>\n

Stomach.–<\/b><\/span>Sense of weight. Belching of wind alternating with hiccough. Nausea and vomiting.<\/p>\n

Abdomen.–<\/b><\/span>Pain below ribs of right side.<\/p>\n

Stool.–<\/b><\/span>Loose, dark, at night. Itching of anus. Constipation,\u00a0with h\u0107morrhoids<\/i><\/span>; not bleeding.<\/p>\n

Respiratory.–<\/b><\/span>Dry,\u00a0hacking cough<\/i><\/span>, caused by tickling of the epiglottis. Burning sensation in the bronchial tubes. Tendency to get hoarse talking or singing; throat hot, dry. Dry asthma.<\/p>\n

Female.–<\/b><\/span>Pain in left ovary, shooting down to knee. Pain in uterus; could outline its contour.<\/p>\n

Extremities.–<\/b><\/span>Pain in back; extends to end of spine. Pain right arm, stiffness of wrist and hand. Aching pains all over.<\/p>\n

Fever.–<\/b><\/span>Chill at 11 am. Thirst for ice-water during chill. No thirst with heat. Profuse sweat all night. Terrific headache during sweat.<\/p>\n

Relationship.–<\/b><\/span>Compare:\u00a0Arum; Sang; Lach<\/i><\/span>.<\/p>\n
