Vomiting immediately after drinking, and preceded by thirst.<\/p>\n

Tight clothing is oppressive.<\/p>\n

Soreness in the region of the liver.<\/p>\n

Morning diarrhoea.<\/p>\n

Itching of the mons veneris.<\/p>\n

Hectic cough, from suppressed intermittent fever.<\/p>\n

Cough, with flushed face and tearful eyes.<\/p>\n

Difficulty of breathing, attended with perspiration, anxious countenance, sleeplessness.<\/p>\n

[20] Inability to lie on the left side.<\/p>\n

Extremities.<\/p>\n

Upper. Heat in the hands, sometimes with perspiration.<\/p>\n

Lower. Dropsical swelling of both feet and ankles.<\/p>\n

Heat in the soles of the feet, in the morning.<\/p>\n

The intermittent fever paroxysm generally commences in the morning.<\/p>\n

[25] Thirst a long time before the chill, which continues during the chill and heat.<\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the chill, vomiting of bile, or every draught.<\/p>\n

Pain in the bones (as if broken) all over, before the commencement of the chill.<\/p>\n

Headache, backache and thirst during the chill.<\/p>\n

Chilliness, with excessive trembling and nausea.<\/p>\n

[30] Aching pains, with moaning during the cold stage.<\/p>\n

During the chill and heat, throbbing headache.<\/p>\n

The chill is induced or hastened by taking a drink of cold water.<\/p>\n

Great weakness and prostration during the fever.<\/p>\n

Headache and trembling during the heat.<\/p>\n

[35] Vomiting of bile at the close of the hot stage.<\/p>\n

The fever goes off by perspiration and sleep.<\/p>\n

Coldness during nocturnal perspiration.<\/p>\n
