Lachrymation when reading.<\/p>\n

Tension in the eyelids in the morning ; it is difficult to open them.<\/p>\n

[10] Hardness of bearing ; it feels as if a leaf were lying before the ear.<\/p>\n

Nose.<\/p>\n

Bleeding of the nose in the evening.<\/p>\n

Paleness of the face.<\/p>\n

The face feels swollen, as if the white of an egg had dried on the face.<\/p>\n

The lips peel off.<\/p>\n

Mouth and Throat.<\/p>\n

[15] Dulness of the teeth.<\/p>\n

Toothache worse in the evening in bed, aggravated by cold, relieved by heat.<\/p>\n

Aphthae (in children).<\/p>\n

Sensation of dryness in the mouth.<\/p>\n

Ptyalism.<\/p>\n

Roughness in the throat.<\/p>\n

[20] Tongue dry.<\/p>\n

Spitting of blood.<\/p>\n

Stomach and Abdomen.<\/p>\n

Desire for fresh fruit.<\/p>\n

Sour eructations, violent heartburn.<\/p>\n

Nausea in the stomach with chilliness.<\/p>\n

[25] Vomiting, first of water and then of food.<\/p>\n

The water causes cold of the stomach, if not mixed with some alcoholic liquor.<\/p>\n

Stitches in the liver and spleen.<\/p>\n

Pain in the abdomen like labor, extending to the hips and back.<\/p>\n

Flatulence in the abdomen, with the sensation as if a hernia should protrude.<\/p>\n

[30] Violent protrusion of an inguinal hernia.<\/p>\n

Stool and Anus.<\/p>\n

Ineffectual urging to go to stool.<\/p>\n

Stool retarded, compact, hard, knotty, and black.<\/p>\n

Urinary Organs.<\/p>\n

[35] Diminished secretion of brown urine, which becomes turbid on standing, like loam water.<\/p>\n

Sediment like blood and a cuticle on the urine.<\/p>\n

Pain in the bladder if the call to urinate is postponed.<\/p>\n

Sexual Organs.<\/p>\n

Women. Menstruation too early and too profuse.<\/p>\n

Impotence, with too early and too profuse menstruation.<\/p>\n

[40] Leucorrhoea acrid or burning, or like milk.<\/p>\n

Respiratory Organs.<\/p>\n

Hoarseness, with dryness and roughness in the throat and larynx.<\/p>\n

The larynx is painful ; the parts feel deprived of elasticity, which causes a difficulty in talking.<\/p>\n

Long-continued haemoptysis.<\/p>\n

Cough in the open air, from walking, riding, cold water, and when smelling coffee.<\/p>\n

[45] Cough from irritation in the chest, with expectoration in the morning of dark blood, or of a thin, yellow, blood-streaked mucus, generally of a sourish taste.<\/p>\n

After the cough, eructations.<\/p>\n

Stitches ; in the chest ; about the heart.<\/p>\n

Sensation of great weakness in the chest.<\/p>\n

Palpitation of the heart, with or without anxiety.<\/p>\n

Back.<\/p>\n

[50] Stiffness in the back on rising in the morning.<\/p>\n

Blood-boils on the back.<\/p>\n

Extremities.<\/p>\n

Upper. Stitches in the shoulder-joints on lifting up the arms.<\/p>\n

Tension in the elbow-joint.<\/p>\n

Stitches in the joints of the fingers.<\/p>\n

[55] Chilblains on the hands.<\/p>\n

Lower. Painful weakness of the knees.<\/p>\n

Red itching spots on the tibia.<\/p>\n

Cold feet.<\/p>\n

Stitches in the corns.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Sleep.<\/p>\n

Goes to sleep late and wakens early.<\/p>\n

[60] During sleep twitches, especially of the fingers.<\/p>\n

Generalities.<\/p>\n

Stitches in the joints.<\/p>\n

Tearing in the whole body, also in the face.<\/p>\n

Slowly increasing but suddenly ceasing pain, as if a blunt instrument were pressed against the part.<\/p>\n

Sensation of soreness, as if bruised over the whole body.<\/p>\n

The left side is principally affected.<\/p>\n

[65] Weakness of the whole body, with the sensation of trembling.<\/p>\n

Fever.<\/p>\n

Pulse small, feeble, and accelerated.<\/p>\n

Chilliness during the day, mostly in the room, better when exercising in the open air.<\/p>\n

Frequent chills running down the body.<\/p>\n

Heat in the evening and after lying down in bed.<\/p>\n

[70] In the evening frequent flushes of heat, especially when exercising.<\/p>\n

Flushes of heat with perspiration (in climacteric years).<\/p>\n

Much perspiration, principally on the upper part of the body.<\/p>\n

Profuse morning sweat.<\/p>\n

Perspiration from the least exercise, which continues for a long time after sitting down.<\/p>\n

[75] Cold perspiration as soon as one eats warm food.<\/p>\n

Skin.<\/p>\n

Bad effects from mechanical, injuries, as from bruises, falling, knocking, pressure of blunt instruments, and contusions (especially in old women).<\/p>\n

Blue spots as from suggillation.<\/p>\n

Red, itching blotches on the skin.<\/p>\n

Soreness of the skin ; also with gangrenous ulceration ; becomes easily chafed when walking or riding.<\/p>\n

Eating pain in the ulcers.<\/p>\n
