The pains and lameness of\u00a0RUTA\u00a0<\/strong>seem to have a particular liking for the\u00a0WRISTS<\/strong>. Here also must\u00a0EUPAT. PERF<\/strong>. be remembered.<\/p>\n

These pains in the wrists of\u00a0RUTA\u00a0<\/strong>are, like\u00a0RHUS TOXICOD<\/strong>., < in cold, wet weather, and > on motion. There is no remedy oftener useful for\u00a0EYE-STRAIN<\/strong>\u00a0from close study, sewing, etc., than\u00a0RUTA<\/strong>. The\u00a0EYES FEEL WEARY AND ACHE AS IF STRAINED<\/strong>, or they burn like balls of fire. Two other remedies must be remembered for eye-strain, viz.:\u00a0NATRUM MURIATICUM<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0SENEGA<\/strong>. An understanding of these three remedies may save many cases of asthenopia or weakness of accommodation from the abuse of spectacles.\u00a0RUTA\u00a0<\/strong>is also one of our best remedies for\u00a0prolapsus of the rectum.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The prolapse of\u00a0PODOPHYLLUM\u00a0<\/strong>is almost always accompanied by the characteristic diarrhoea, but may be the result of strain by lifting, when the uterus may also prolapse.
