It contains \u201858.21 parts of<br \/>\nCalcium.\u2019<br \/>\nIt is a constituent of:<br \/>\na) The surface of the bones.<br \/>\nb) The enamel of the teeth.<br \/>\nc) The epidermic cells.<br \/>\nd) The elastic tissues.<br \/>\nIt favors easy confinement.<br \/>\nA loss of its power to unite with organic substances leads to dilatation<br \/>\nor relaxed condition of the fibers, causing varicose veins, hemorrhoids,<br \/>\nrelaxation of the abdominal walls hence \u2018hanging belly\u2019<br \/>\n, displacement<br \/>\nof the uterus, enlargement of heart, hard tumors especially in breast. The<br \/>\nskeleton acquires a tendency to form exostoses. Glandular indurations<br \/>\nand styes may occur. It is known as a Gland Remedy.<br \/>\n\u201cWhen a fibrinous exudation is not dissolved by suppuration, but has<br \/>\nhardened, Calc Fluor must be given.\u201d (Schussler)<br \/>\nCalc Fluor has proved curative in:<br \/>\n1) Hard swellings on the bones<br \/>\n2) Hemorrhoids; may be alternated with Ferrum Phos, if need be, also<br \/>\napplied locally.<br \/>\n3) Hard tumors in breast; may be alternated with Silicea, if need be.<br \/>\n4) Weak ligaments of the uterus, with tendency to prolapse;<br \/>\ndisplacement of the uterus.<br \/>\n5) Lumbago on movement; cracking sound in joints during movement.<br \/>\n6) Whitlow<br \/>\n7) Cataract of the eyes; blurred vision, with pain; ulceration of cornea if<br \/>\nthe edges are hard.<br \/>\n8) Styes (Silicea also)<br \/>\n9) Varicose or enlarged Veins, chief remedy<br \/>\n10) Early aging of the skin<br \/>\n11) Cracked lips<br \/>\n12) Teeth loose in their sockets; rapid decay of teeth; toothache when<br \/>\nany food touches teeth; ugly tooth.<br \/>\n13) Chronic swelling of the tongue, with cracked appearance<br \/>\n14) Elongation of the uvula<br \/>\n15) Inability to expel the feces due to a relaxed condition of the rectum.<br \/>\n16) Dropsy of the testicles; indurated and nodular testes; hydrocele.<br \/>\n17) Excessive menses.<br \/>\n18) Enlargement of the heart<br \/>\n19) Telangietasis (localized dilation of small blood vessels)<br \/>\n20) Arteriosclerosis (hardening &amp; thickening of artery walls)<br \/>\n21) Cephalhaematoma (collection of blood in scalp of newborn infant);<br \/>\nblood tumor in scalp of new born baby.<br \/>\n22) Groundless fears of financial ruin.<br \/>\n23) True croup (inflammation of larynx &amp; trachea, characterized by<br \/>\nsuffocative breathing), chief remedy<br \/>\n24) Obesity in alternation with Calc Phos.<br \/>\n25) Severely painful and swollen cheeks, in alternation with Silicea.<br \/>\n26) Mitral stenosis along with osteoarthritis (it is a guiding symptom).<br \/>\n27) Patient cannot complete micturition as the residual remains in<br \/>\nurinary bladder.<br \/>\n28) Osseous growths.<br \/>\n29) Phalanges are easily dislocated.<br \/>\n30) Uterine fibroids.<br \/>\nModalities: Worse in damp weather and rest; better by cold fomentation,<br \/>\nrubbing and heat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CALCAREA FLUORICA (Calcarea Fluoride) It occurs in Nature in the mineral fluorspar.
