It destroys worn-out red blood corpuscles in the<br \/>\nliver by eliminating their water, and excreting the remnants through<br \/>\nbiliary action. Hence the blood does not contain useless cells. It cures<br \/>\npurulent excretions from the mucous membranes. It removes purulent<br \/>\nexudations from serous sacs. It cures tuberculous ulcers of the<br \/>\nintestines, also ulceration or deep seated abscess of the cornea. It is<br \/>\nknown as an Ulcer Remedy. \u201cThe presence of pus with a vent is the<br \/>\ngeneral indication\u201d (Boricke &amp; Dewey). It is a constituent of all<br \/>\nconnective tissues. It increases blood coagulation. It stimulates<br \/>\nmetabolism.<br \/>\nIt controls yellow colored suppuration, which may be tinged with blood.<br \/>\n\u201cWhile Silicea hastens the process of suppuration in a normal manner,<br \/>\nCalc Sulph closes up the process at the proper time.\u201d George W. Carey.<br \/>\nIf the face is covered with pimples and pustules, which continue to<br \/>\nsuppurate, it is the remedy, and may be alternated with Silicea.<br \/>\nIn kidney ailments, it is beneficial after Natrum Sulph has been<br \/>\nadministered.<br \/>\nIt is a remedy for:<br \/>\n1) Abscess, boils, carbuncles, even third stage.<br \/>\n2) Gum-boils (an almost absolute specific).<br \/>\n3) Suppurating tonsillitis\/bronchial catarrh.<br \/>\n4) Chronic foul smelling cold (maxillary sinus).<br \/>\n5) Fistula; Silicea may be alternated.<br \/>\n6) Chronic rheumatism.<br \/>\n7) Insomnia; sleepy during the day, wakeful at night.<br \/>\n8) Ear discharge tinged with blood.<br \/>\n9) Herpetic eruptions, especially on face.<br \/>\n10) Cystitis &amp; nephritis in alternation with Silicea.<br \/>\n11) Gonorrhoea.<br \/>\n12) Suppurating syphilis.<br \/>\n13) Headache after other remedies have failed; sensation of nail in the<br \/>\nbrain.<br \/>\n14) Chronic neglected diseases.<br \/>\n15) Burning &amp; itching of soles &amp; feet.<br \/>\n16) Third stage of pneumonia when there is rattling in the chest.<br \/>\n17) Obstinate hoarseness.<br \/>\n18) Weeping eczemas.<br \/>\n19) Sudden loss of memory.<br \/>\n20) Vertigo with deadly nausea.<br \/>\n21) Injury to the eye from a splinter.<br \/>\n22) Abscess of the prostate.<br \/>\n23) Prolapsus ani, in alternation with Calc Fluor.<br \/>\n24) Empyema, pus forming in the lungs\/pleural cavities.<br \/>\n25) Hip-joint disease with discharge of pus in alternation with Ferrum<br \/>\nPhos.<br \/>\n26) Evening fever with chilliness.<br \/>\n27) Last stage of consumption when the expectoration is purulent.<br \/>\n28) Yellow mucus with streaks of senile blood.<br \/>\n29) Sanious dysentery.<br \/>\n30) Suppuration burns.<br \/>\n31) It possesses magical action on Anal Fistula.<br \/>\nModalities: Worse from getting wet &amp; walking fast; warm dry climate<br \/>\naids the action of the remedy<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CALCAREA SULPHURICA (Calcium Sulphate, Plaster of Paris) The bile contains it.
