KALI PHOSPHORICUM<\/span><\/h1>\n

(POTASSIUM PHOSPHATE; CHIEF NERVE SALT)
\nBio-chemic treatment is the outcome of the doctrines of Biochemistry.
\nBrain is the principal centre of sensation, thought, volition, feelings,
\nand consciousness. \u2018THE GRAY MATTER of the brain is controlled
\nentirely by the inorganic cell-salt, potassium phosphate\u2019 (George W.
\nCarey, M. D.), which is a constituent of the brain, the nerves, the
\nmuscles, and the blood-corpuscles. It is an indispensable constituent of
\nthe fluids and tissues of the human body and significantly forms the
\nstructures of gray matter in the brain and nerves. It unites with albumin,

\nKali Phosphorus is an omniscient remedy. It is an elixir of life. It has
\nwon greatest laurels in ailments enumerated hereinafter:-
\n1) Mental derangements arising from want of nerve or brain power; the
\npatient is haunted by visions of the past, looks on the dark side of
\neverything, indulges in gloomy predictions, suffers from illusions of
\nsenses, loss of memory, sleeplessness, sudden hysteria, somnambulism,
\nnervous dread, grasps at imaginary objects, dreams of fire, robbers,
\nghosts or of falling. The patient laughs or cries suddenly. In a nutshell, it
\nis one of the most wonderful curative remedy for overworked
\nbusinessmen, weary females, nervous children.
\n2) Neuralgic headache, oversensitive to noise, with vertigo or giddiness
\non rising, ameliorated by cheerful excitement, gentle motion, and while
\neating.
\n3) Squinting, weakness of sight, drooping of eyelids, light aggravates
\nsymptoms; sensation of sand in the eyes; black spots before eyes; weak
\nvision after coitus.
\n4) Itching in ears, with offensive discharge, and supersensitive hearing.
\n5) Sneezing from the slightest exposure, with thick yellow discharge.
\n6) Offensive breath, stomatitis, ashy-gray ulcers in mouth.
\n7) Excessively dry tongue in the morning; very thirsty; mustard-like
\ncoating on the tongue, also smelly.
\n8) Paralysis of the vocal cords; Gangrenous sore throat.
\n9) Constant pain at epigastrium in a small spot; putrid gaseous
\neructation, nausea soon after eating; drowsiness; these are excellent
\nindications for this remedy.
\n10) Cholera with profuse rice-watery stools; painless watery diarrhea;
\ndysentery when stools consist of pure blood with foul odor.
\n11) Bronchial asthma, shortness of breath (It was cured with 2x potency
\nby Dr O. H. Hall, it has been reported.)
\n12) It acts as a cardiac tonic. It \u2018invigorates, revives, strengthens,
\nsoothes, and prevents vital energy from drying up.\u2019
\n13) Amenorrhea with constant dull headache, drowsiness, fidgety feet,
\nchest difficulties, and depression of spirits. (It was cured with 3x
\npotency by Dr Royal)
\n14) \u2018Kali Phos is an anti-septic and hinders the decay of tissues\u2019
\n(Boericke & Dewey). Debility and avoidance of decay and putrefaction
\nare the characteristic features of the remedy.
\n15) Paralysis of any part of the body and of all varieties, preferably in
\nalternation with Mag Phos. It is the chief remedy in paralysis.
\n16) Debilitating high fever with brown, dry tongue and profuse
\nperspiration, (not to be given in tuberculosis)
\n17) Morphine Habit; extreme offensiveness.
\n18) Sciatica in left leg, worse slightest motion. (Extract of a case study
\nby Dr Martin: A small powder of K.P. 6x was put in half glass of water,
\na teaspoonful was given every 10 minutes for an hour, the lady patient
\nslept well but pain returned next day, gave K.P. 12x every 2 hours, a
\nsmall dry powder for a week and thereafter four times a day for a month,
\na year passed without returning of the trouble.)
\n19) \u201cIt will greatly facilitate labor, if given steadily for one month
\nprevious to the birth.\u201d (Chapman)
\n20) Scorbutic (affected wih deficiency of vitamin C) gangrene (deathly
\ndeterioration of any part of the body caused by interference with blood
\nsupply); septic hemorrhages; septicemia (blood poisoning); phagedenic
\nchancre (rapidly spreading destructive ulceration).
\n21) Impotence; the patient may suffer from frequent urging to urinate.
\n22) Tympanitis in alternation with Mag Phos and Natrum Sulph.
\n23) Chief remedy in Typhoid, typhus, gastric and enteric fevers with
\nbrown dry tongue, sleeplessness, delirium, foetid odor, excessive
\nperspiration.
\n24) Cold air aggravates all pains.
\n25) Brain-fag from overwork
\n26) Cerebral anemia
\n27) Indicated in appendicitis with putrefactive bowels.
