(Inflammation of eyelids)<\/strong>
\nSigns & symptoms:
\na) The ends of the lids become reddish & thicken
\nb) Whitish scales and crusts may form
\nc) Lashes fall out easily
\nd) Ulcers may be seen at the base of the eyelashes
\nRemedies:
\n1) Graphites 6x or 12x:<\/strong> Lids dry, red, swollen, margins covered with scales or crusts;
\neczema of lids with moist or fissured eruptions, worse night, warmth, during and after
\nmenstruation; may be taken thrice a day for three days.
\n2) Natrum Phos 6x:<\/strong> Blepharitis with acrid lachrymation; inflamed lids pain and burn; there
\nmay be stricture of lachrymal ducts; worse at seaside, cold weather, morning; it can be given
\ntwo hourly for a week or so.
\n3) Silicea 6x<\/strong>: Besides Blepharitis, there may be boils and cystic tumors around eyes and
\nlids; may be taken thrice a day for a week or so.
\n4) Kali Carb 6x or 12x<\/strong> every three hour for three days: \u2018Swelling over upper lid, like little bags;
\nswelling of glabella between brows; Asthenia.\u2019<\/p>\n
