Bronchitis\u00a0(Biochemic medicine)<\/span><\/h1>\n

(Inflammation of the mucous membranes of the bronchial tubes)<\/strong>
\nSigns & symptoms:<\/strong>
\na) Acute bronchitis occurs in wet or cold weather
\nb) When nose is blocked, one breathes through mouth and inhales
\nimpurities and cold
\nc) Chronic bronchitis is related to smoking or air-pollution
\nd) The principal symptom involves cough with mucoid sputum, worse in
\nthe morning and during winter
\nRemedies:
\n2) Ferrum Phos 6x:<\/strong> In acute or chronic bronchitis, it is the remedy for inflammation
\nof the bronchi, short oppressed breathing, burning soreness, congestion, painful hard
\ncough, and should be alternated with Kali Mur 6x every two hours for a few days. It
\ncan also be alternated with the remedy indicated by the type of expectoration. When
\nthe expectoration is clear & watery, Natrum Mur; when distinctly yellow, Kali
\nSulph; when albuminous, Calcarea Phos; when yellowish green, Calcarea Sulph.
\n3) Arsenic Alb 12x:<\/strong> Extremely restless, exhausted, chilly patient with
\nunquenchable thirst, nightly aggravation, dry cough after drinking, expectoration
\nscanty, pain through upper third of right lung, fear of death with cold sweat, let it be
\ngiven four hourly for two or three days.
\n4) Antim Tart 12x:<\/strong> Great rattling of mucus with little expectoration although
\nbronchial tubes overloaded with mucus; dyspnoea relieved by eructation and lying
\non right side, tongue coated white with red edges; there may be dizziness and
\ndrowsiness. Three doses may be given every 15 minutes.
\n5) Hepar Sulph 6x or 12x:<\/strong> In chronic and \u201cchoking cough,\u201d which troubles
\nwhenever the body gets cold or uncovered; the patient sweats, yet pulls blanket
\naround him\/her; rattling cough worse in morning, better damp weather and bending
\nbackwards. It should be taken twice a day for some days.<\/p>\n
