{"id":26847,"date":"2023-04-14T06:10:28","date_gmt":"2023-04-14T06:10:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/materiamedica.net\/?p=26847"},"modified":"2023-04-14T06:10:28","modified_gmt":"2023-04-14T06:10:28","slug":"dysenterybiochemic-medicine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.epostpro.com\/index.php\/2023\/04\/14\/dysenterybiochemic-medicine\/","title":{"rendered":"Dysentery:(Biochemic medicine)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Dysentery:<\/span><\/h1>\n<p>(<strong>A painful intestinal inflammation characterized by semi-solid stools, mucous and bloody<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>evacuations<\/strong>.)<br \/>\nSymptoms:<br \/>\na) Amoebic dysentery is characterized by periodic attacks of diarrhea with blood<br \/>\nand slime in the stools<br \/>\nb) In acute bacillary dysentery the onset is sudden with fever, colic and tenesmus<br \/>\nc) The stools are hot and contain blood with mucus together with pus cells and<br \/>\nepithelial debris<br \/>\nd) Constant urging to empty the bowels<br \/>\ne) Cramp like pains in the abdomen<br \/>\nCauses:<br \/>\n1) Suddenly checked perspiration during or after warm weather<br \/>\n2) Living in damp area<br \/>\n3) Frequent use of purgatives<br \/>\n4) Suppression of piles<br \/>\n5) Deficiency of iron molecules<br \/>\nRemedies:<br \/>\n1. <strong>Kali Mur and Ferrum Phos<\/strong>, both 6x and in alternation, every two hours, are generally<br \/>\nsufficient to cure dysentery, if taken in time. The patient passes stool every few minutes<br \/>\nand tenesmus is always present; pale-yellow stools.<br \/>\n2. <strong>Arsenic Alb 12x or 30x:<\/strong> Amoebic dysentery; drinks much but little at a time. Stools<br \/>\nsmall, dark, very offensive, bloody with great prostration. Let it be taken 3 hourly for<br \/>\ntwo days.<br \/>\n3. <strong>Kali Phos 6x 2 hourly 2 days:<\/strong> It is required if stools consist of pure blood, abdomen<br \/>\nswells, stools have offensive putrid odor, with great dryness of tongue and pain after<br \/>\nstools.<br \/>\n4. <strong>Mag Phos 6x<\/strong>: It should be taken every 15 minutes in lukewarm water, 4 or 5 doses, if the<br \/>\npatient suffers from crampy spasmodic pains, eased by bending double &amp; warmth.<br \/>\n5<strong> Natrum Sulph 6x every one hour 4\/5 doses<\/strong>: If stools are bilious and due to living in damp<br \/>\narea, it is needed.<br \/>\n6) <strong>Calcarea Sulph 6x<\/strong> should be taken 2 hourly one or two days in case the stools are sanious<br \/>\nand mattery<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dysentery: (A painful intestinal inflammation characterized by semi-solid stools, mucous and bloody evacuations.)
