{"id":26864,"date":"2023-04-14T06:36:12","date_gmt":"2023-04-14T06:36:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/materiamedica.net\/?p=26864"},"modified":"2023-04-14T06:36:12","modified_gmt":"2023-04-14T06:36:12","slug":"erysipelasbiochemic-medicine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.epostpro.com\/index.php\/2023\/04\/14\/erysipelasbiochemic-medicine\/","title":{"rendered":"Erysipelas(Biochemic medicine)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Erysipelas<\/span><\/h1>\n<p>(St Anthony\u2019s fire)<br \/>\n(Acute infectious disease caused by streptococcus and characterized by localized inflammation<br \/>\nand deep red color of skin, with fever, flushes of heat, chill, headache, vomiting and shooting<br \/>\npains, worse from movement)<br \/>\nRemedies:<br \/>\n1)<strong> Graphites 6x or 12x or 30x<\/strong>: \u201cPhlegmonous erysipelas of face\u201d with<br \/>\nburning and stinging pain, worse warmth, at night, during and after<br \/>\nmenstruation; Graphites \u201ceradicates tendency to erysipelas.\u201d It suits<br \/>\npatients who have tendency to obesity, skin affections and constipation.<br \/>\nThree doses may be sufficient if taken 3 hourly for 4\/5 days.<br \/>\n2) <strong>Ferrum Phos 6x and Natrum Sulph 6x<\/strong>: Should be alternated every<br \/>\nhour first day, next day 2 hourly, third day 4 hourly; in bio-chemic system<br \/>\nof treatment Natrum Sulph is the chief remedy for erysipelas with or<br \/>\nwithout vomiting of bile. There may be smooth, red, shiny, tingling or<br \/>\npainful swelling of the skin.
