Pressure to bring out pus should<br \/>\nalso be avoided. Plenty of hot water application may be resorted to.<br \/>\nSigns &amp; symptoms:<br \/>\na) In acute stage, the urethra gets inflamed in males; in females vagina also<br \/>\nb) Pain, burning sensation and a purulent discharge persists<br \/>\nc) The disease may spread to adjacent organs of the body<br \/>\nd) In the chronic stage, the patient may have arthritis<br \/>\ne) Blood may come out instead of urine<br \/>\nRemedies:<br \/>\n1) <strong>A combination of Ferrum<\/strong> Phos 6x, Kali Mur 6x, Natrum Phos 6x, and Silicea 30x, every<br \/>\n4 hour will be quite useful. The patient should not attempt to bring out pus by pressing the<br \/>\narea. Walking and other exercises may also have to be avoided.<br \/>\n2) Kali Mur 3x or 6x is the principal remedy. It is a specific for cases in which swelling<br \/>\nexists. If there is swelling, also apply on lint a lotion of 3x potency, 30 grains in two ounces<br \/>\nof water. If the swelling does not exist, Natrum Phos is the chief remedy.<br \/>\n3)<strong> Calcarea Sulph 6x<\/strong> if the secretion is bloody-purulent; if yellow mucus, Kali Sulph 6x. In<br \/>\nthe case of long standing fetid discharge, the remedy is Silicea; if the discharge is clear,<br \/>\nwatery, slimy, Natrum Mur 6x; if it is bloody, Kali Phos 3x or 6x.
