{"id":26901,"date":"2023-04-14T08:32:51","date_gmt":"2023-04-14T08:32:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/materiamedica.net\/?p=26901"},"modified":"2023-04-14T08:32:51","modified_gmt":"2023-04-14T08:32:51","slug":"hydrocephalusbiochemic-medicine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.epostpro.com\/index.php\/2023\/04\/14\/hydrocephalusbiochemic-medicine\/","title":{"rendered":"Hydrocephalus(Biochemic medicine)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Hydrocephalus<\/span><\/h1>\n<p>(Abnormal accumulation of fluid inside the brain)<br \/>\nSigns &amp; symptoms:<br \/>\na) Great enlargement of head, making the face look disproportionately small<br \/>\nb) Patient cries with intense pain<br \/>\nc) There may be suppression of urine<br \/>\nd) Scalp sweats during sleep<br \/>\nRemedies:<br \/>\n1) <strong>Zincum Metallicum 6x or 12x, 6 hourly:<\/strong> Hydrocephalus with cerebral depression,<br \/>\nprofound prostration, anemia, brain-fag, rolling of head from side to side; cannot keep feet<br \/>\nstill; forehead cool, but base of brain hot; bores head into pillow and screams; worse after<br \/>\ndinner, and from wine; great relief from discharges and appearance of eruptions.<br \/>\n2) <strong>Calcarea Phos 2x<\/strong>: Hydrocephalus may be acute or chronic, it is the remedy; Head large<br \/>\nand unsteady. Ears and nose may be cold. Eyeballs may protrude; bones of skull may be thin<br \/>\nand friable. The patient screams and grasps the head with hands. There may be sensation of<br \/>\nice water on upper part of occiput. Headache, if any, ameliorates after sudden sneezing.<br \/>\nSymptoms are worse from cold, motion, change of weather, better rest and lying down. It<br \/>\nshould be given morning and evening.
