It prevents pain, reduces swelling, controls fever. It repairs the wounded parts.<br \/>\nIt can also be used externally. However, to mitigate shock and bleeding, give it with Kali<br \/>\nPhos 6x, dissolved in half ounce water at ten minute intervals, a few doses.<br \/>\n2) <strong>Silicea 12x<\/strong>: Neglected cases of injuries, when suppuration threatens, it is used twice a<br \/>\nday, followed by Calcarea Sulph 6x when wounds discharge pus.<br \/>\n3) <strong>Calcarea Phos 6x<\/strong>, 2 hourly for at least 30 days: In the case of a broken bone, it is needed<br \/>\nto furnish bone material and with it Ferrum Phos to carry oxygen to the injured parts.<br \/>\n4) <strong>Natrum Sulph 12x<\/strong>, every two hours for a week: It is efficacious to remove mental<br \/>\nagonies arising from injuries to the head.<br \/>\n\u201cYoung man, hurled from the truck in a fire department. He struck his head. Following this for<br \/>\nfive or six months he had fits. He was very irritable; wanted to die. His fits drove him to<br \/>\ndistraction. Never knew when they were coming on. They were epileptiform in character.<br \/>\nHad constant pain in his head; much photophobia. Natr. Sulph. was given, and the first dose<br \/>\ncured him. He has never had any pain about the head since; has had no more mental trouble,<br \/>\nand no more fits.\u201d (J. T. Kent)<br \/>\nRemarks:<br \/>\nIf affected part is deep green, with swelling and there is blood clotting, ice should be put at the<br \/>\nparts repeatedly.
