{"id":26964,"date":"2023-04-14T11:46:14","date_gmt":"2023-04-14T11:46:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/materiamedica.net\/?p=26964"},"modified":"2023-04-14T11:46:14","modified_gmt":"2023-04-14T11:46:14","slug":"migrainebiochemic-medicine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.epostpro.com\/index.php\/2023\/04\/14\/migrainebiochemic-medicine\/","title":{"rendered":"Migraine(Biochemic medicine)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Migraine<\/span><\/h1>\n<p>(Megrim)<br \/>\n(Severe headache, periodically returning, usually affecting one side of the head)<br \/>\nSymptoms:<br \/>\na) Disruption in the flow of blood causes migraine.<br \/>\nb) It may be associated with nausea and\/or vomiting as well as<br \/>\nirritability with photophobia and phonophobia.<br \/>\nc) Common triggers for an attack are red wine, relaxation after stress,<br \/>\nmenstruation, mild head injury.<br \/>\nd) Migraine is nearly always throbbing.<br \/>\ne) It often starts on waking up and continues for a number of hours.<br \/>\nRemedies:<br \/>\n1) <strong>Natrum Mur 6x, 4 times a day for a week or so, subsequently twice a day:<\/strong> Hammering<br \/>\nheadache, mainly in forehead, &amp; temples, and usually semi-lateral, with drowsiness,<br \/>\nconstipation and un-refreshing sleep, worse generally in the morning, due to excessive<br \/>\ndryness of the tissues of the brain. A few doses of Ferrum Phos and Kali Phos 6x will also be<br \/>\nuseful.<br \/>\n2) <strong>Silicea 6x or 12x twice daily for at least one week<\/strong>: It is suitable to migraine with very<br \/>\nstrong desire to cover the head completely. Commencing from the back of the head, the pain<br \/>\nsettles over one eye, and is relieved by pressure and urinating, and is worse in windy cold<br \/>\nweather.<br \/>\n3) <strong>Ferrum Phos 6x, thrice daily<\/strong>: For congestive headache with red face, throbbing from rush<br \/>\nof blood to the head, often accompanied by nausea, vomiting and disorder of sight, relieved<br \/>\nby cold applications, increased by motion\/stooping, it is the best remedy.
