It generally occurs in the middle age.<br \/>\nb) It may be aggravated by over-eating or lack of exercise.<br \/>\nc) It may be associated with disorder in lipid metabolism as in:<br \/>\ni) Diabetes<br \/>\nii) Atheroma<br \/>\niii) Gall stones<br \/>\niv) Muscular deficiency \u2013 hernia<br \/>\nv) Uterine prolapse<br \/>\nvi) Varicose veins<br \/>\nvii) Osteoarthritis<br \/>\nviii) It may aggravate dyspnoea<br \/>\nix) There may be irregular distribution of fat \u2013 lower parts obese, upper emaciated.<br \/>\nRemedies:<br \/>\n1) <strong>Graphites 30x twice daily for some days<\/strong>: It suits persons who have tendency to skin<br \/>\naffections, habitual constipation, and become fat for no rhyme and reason. Calcarea Carb<br \/>\n30x, one dose in the morning and the other dose in the evening will be beneficial for those<br \/>\nwho have large abdomen, and are sensitive to cold. Use of Calcarea Carb alone for a month<br \/>\nor so may give good results.<br \/>\n2)<strong> Calcarea Phos 12x with Natrum Mur 6x:<\/strong> Over a period of time 5 celloids 3 times daily<br \/>\nmay be taken to achieve weight loss.<br \/>\nManagement:<br \/>\na) Diet rich in calcium helps reduce fat; also take green vegetables and fruits.<br \/>\nb) Fasting and dieting are harmful, may lead to anorexia or bulimia.
