{"id":27030,"date":"2023-04-15T04:51:59","date_gmt":"2023-04-15T04:51:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/materiamedica.net\/?p=27030"},"modified":"2023-04-15T04:51:59","modified_gmt":"2023-04-15T04:51:59","slug":"sinusitisbiochemic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.epostpro.com\/index.php\/2023\/04\/15\/sinusitisbiochemic\/","title":{"rendered":"Sinusitis(Biochemic)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Sinusitis<\/span><\/h1>\n<p>(<strong>Inflammation of para-nasal sinuses, acute or chronic, ethmoiditic or maxillary\/frontal<\/strong>)<br \/>\nSigns &amp; Symptoms:<br \/>\na) A history of colds, blocked nose and sneezing<br \/>\nb) Headaches occur and recur periodically<br \/>\nc) Excessive sneezing which does not give any relief<br \/>\nd) Sinusitis after mastoid operation<br \/>\ne) Pain begins at the back of the head and settles over the eyes, worse under fan<br \/>\nRemedies:<br \/>\n1) <strong>Kali Bichromicum 30x<\/strong>: It is a very good medicine for sinusitis, acute or chronic, if the<br \/>\nsecretion is tough, ropy, stringy, sticky, greenish yellow, with stinking smell. It should be<br \/>\ngiven three times a day.<br \/>\n2)<strong> Natrum Mur 30x, 4 hourly<\/strong>: Frontal sinus inflammation with tearing pain in head fromsunrise to sunset; pain extends from root of nose to forehead; stoppage of nose after fluent<br \/>\ncoryza with loss of smell &amp; taste.<br \/>\n3) <strong>Kali Mur 6x with silicea 12x:<\/strong> Five colloids of each in lukewarm water every 4 hour;<br \/>\nstuffy colds in the head; catarrh of head with characteristic discharge of thick, fetid, yellow<br \/>\nmatter.<br \/>\n4) <strong>Ferrum Phos 3x &amp; Natrum Mur 3x:<\/strong> In the case of acute sinusitis\/hay fever, use in<br \/>\nalternation half hourly.
