Sterility<\/span><\/h1>\n

(Infertility)<\/strong>
\n(Inability of the female to conceive)
\nCauses:
\n1) Anema
\n2) Leucorrhea
\n3) Prolapsus of the uterus
\n4) Scanty menses
\n5) Premature and profuse menses
\n6) Frequent mental depression
\n7) Hardened cervix
\n8) Ulceration of the womb and Vagina
\n9) Inflammation of the membranes of the uterus
\n10) One or both fallopian tubes blocked
\n11) Vaginal wall defective
\n12) Non-production of ova
\n13) Polypus of the uterus
\n14) Enlarged ovaries
\n15) Married late with suppressed sexual desire, dislike for intercourse
\n16) If male is impotent or has defective sperms
\nRemedies:
\n1) Borax 30x, 4 hourly:<\/strong> It favors easy conception. The patient may suffer from profuse
\nmenses, membranous dysmenorrhoea, leucorrhoea with sensation as if warm water flowing
\nfrom vagina; and itching of vulva. Three weekly doses of Calcarea Carb 30x may be given
\nafter it has been administered duly, if the patient is fat and flabby.
\n2) Natrum Phos 6x:<\/strong> If sterility is caused by vaginal acid secretions, which prove fatal to
\nspermatozoa, it is the remedy. It would also be helpful in curing frontal headache, acid
\nleucorrhoea, and irregularity of monthly periods.
\n3) Silicea 12x, twice a day<\/strong>: It is needed for women who are so weak that no conception
\ntakes place. It seems as if the organs were too feeble to perform their functions. It cures
\nulceration of the womb also. Calcarea Phos 3x or 6x may be given intercurrently.
\n4) Aurum Mur Natronatum 3x one hour after each meal:<\/strong> \u201cThe woman, who had been
\nmarried for three years and childless, became pregnant for the first time and has since borne
\nseveral children\u201d (Dr Tritschler as quoted by Dr E. P. Anshutz in his book \u201cNew, Old and
\nForgotten Remedies\u201d). This medicine helps in attaining the joy of motherhood inasmuch as it
\ntones up the uterine tissue and reduces the swelling of the ovaries, the cervix and the uterus.
\n5) Ova Tosta 3x<\/strong>, twice a day for a week, if sterility is due to non-production of ova.
\nManagement:<\/strong>
\n1) Vitamin A helps the treatment
