It acts as a tonic to digestive system.<br \/>\nIt increases and stimulates phagocytes. It helps in degenerative condition of the liver and<br \/>\narteries. It removes atheroma (lesions of atherosclerosis) of arteries of brain and liver. It<br \/>\neliminates deposits of carbohydrates and fats etc.<br \/>\n2) <strong>Bio-combination number one, thrice daily:<\/strong> It comprises of Calcarea Phos, Ferrum Phos,<br \/>\nKali Phos, and Natrum Mur. Calcarea Phos \u201csupplies new blood-cells, becoming the first<br \/>\nremedy in anaemia and chlorosis.\u201d (Dr Boericke &amp; Dewey). It serves as a tonic for anaemic<br \/>\nsubjects. Ferrum Phos \u201ccolors the blood-cells red.\u201d (Dr Carey). It contains iron, attracts<br \/>\noxygen, and as such is a useful remedy in diseases of blood corpuscles. \u201cKali Phos is an<br \/>\nanti-septic and hinders the decay of tissues.\u201d It is a constituent of blood-cells. Natrum Mur<br \/>\ncovers anaemic conditions, with thin watery blood. It \u201cregulates the osmosis of water fromthe arterial blood to the several serous sacs.\u201d (Dr Boericke &amp; Dewey).<br \/>\n3)<strong> Ars Alb 12x or 30x, twice daily for some days:<\/strong> It is quite good for anemia owing<br \/>\ndegenerative changes in the blood and also to deal with abnormally large red cells.<br \/>\n4) <strong>Calcarea Ars 3x, twice daily for a few days<\/strong>: In case hemoglobin and red corpuscles are<br \/>\nquite low, it helps considerably in achieving increase thereof.<br \/>\n5) <strong>Ferrum Met 1x twice daily in water after meals:<\/strong> It is very effective in treatment of<br \/>\nthalassemia major, whether hereditary or genetically transmitted. It is the most harmful formof thalassemia. It is also known as Cooley\u2019s anemia, named after Dr Cooley who discovered<br \/>\nit in 1925. The abnormalities are more troublesome in winter.<br \/>\n6) <strong>Plumbum Met 12x twice daily for some days:<\/strong> It is used if there is rapid reduction in<br \/>\nnumber of red blood cells causing pallor, icterus, anemia. The blood, alimentary and nervous<br \/>\nsystems are the specific seats of the action of this remedy. There may be twitchings, and<br \/>\ncramps in the calves.
