For adulta 5 tablets, children 3 tablets at a time four times a<br \/>\nday at intervals of three hours. For suppurative stage of inflammation of the tonsils, Calcarea<br \/>\nSulph 6x should also be given 4 hourly.<br \/>\n2) <strong>Baryta Carb 6x, twice a day, for some days:<\/strong> If tonsils suppurate from every cold, and<br \/>\nstinging pain afflicts, it is the remedy. It is a great remedy, both for children and old people,<br \/>\nif tonsils remain swollen always, cold affects easily, and pains occur while swallowing; one<br \/>\ncan swallow liquids only.<br \/>\n3) <strong>Calcarea Fluor 6x twice daily<\/strong>: Burning pains ameliorate by hot drinks, aggravate by cold<br \/>\ndrinks; pus forms upon inflamed tonsils; there may be hypertrophy of pharyngeal tonsils.<br \/>\n4) <strong>Calcarea Sulph 6x<\/strong> twice daily to cure abscess on tonsils.<br \/>\n5) <strong>Hepar Sulph 30x twice daily for a few days:<\/strong> Ulcers on the tonsils are cured by this<br \/>\nremedy; sensation of a splinter or a plug while swallowing; quinsy with suppuration.<br \/>\n6) <strong>Acid Nit 12x twice daily for some days<\/strong>: The patient hawks mucus constantly; there are<br \/>\nwhite patches in the throat which is so painful that the patient is not able to swallow anything;<br \/>\nsensation of improvement while riding in a carriage; pains as from splinters appear and<br \/>\ndisappear suddenly.<br \/>\n<strong>Note:<\/strong><br \/>\nTonsil is a lymphatic tissue; it acts as a filter for protection from bacteria; it helps in formation of<br \/>\nwhite cells.
