{"id":27078,"date":"2023-04-15T06:09:55","date_gmt":"2023-04-15T06:09:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/materiamedica.net\/?p=27078"},"modified":"2023-04-15T06:09:55","modified_gmt":"2023-04-15T06:09:55","slug":"urinary-tract-infection-biochemic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.epostpro.com\/index.php\/2023\/04\/15\/urinary-tract-infection-biochemic\/","title":{"rendered":"Urinary tract infection (Biochemic)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Urinary tract infection<\/p>\n<p>(U T I)<br \/>\nCauses:<br \/>\na) Nephritis, inflammation of the kidneys, causing decrease in the amount of urine, excess of urea and<br \/>\nother minerals, uraemia.<br \/>\nb) Prostatic enlargement causing difficulty in voiding the bladder.<br \/>\nc) Cystitis, inflammation of the bladder.<br \/>\nd) Shock<br \/>\ne) Exposure to dampness &amp; cold.<br \/>\nf) Injudicious diet &amp; overuse of alcohols etc.<br \/>\nRemedies:<br \/>\n<strong>Ferrum Phos 3x:<\/strong> For incontinence of urine, if from weakness of the sphincter muscle; cystitis,<br \/>\nfirst stage, with pain, heat or fever; involuntary spurting of urine with every cough, it may be<br \/>\nalternated 2 hourly with Kali Mur 3x, which is the principal remedy in chronic cystitis. Kali Phos<br \/>\n3x may be given as an intercurrent remedy, if retention of urine is due to nervous debility. In case<br \/>\nthere are calcium oxalic acid and other oxalates in urine, Kali Sulph 6x will be needed at least<br \/>\ntwice daily for a few days. Calcarea Sulph &amp; Silicea both in 6x potency in alternation every two<br \/>\nhours when pus passes with urine.
